What our current students are saying about the MA program:

“The courses are designed as 5-week intensives. This really works for my strengths and allows me to dig deep into a subject. The professors have worked hard to shape the courses in ways that implement various learning styles.”

“MSU and the GNL program have been a breath of fresh air. It has been an environment of equity and inclusion that makes learning fun and attractive. The professors have introduced me to new ideas and encouraged self-reflection and self-awareness throughout the learning process.”

“What I have enjoyed so far about the MA program is the freedom that comes with it. I am a full time employee and a full time student and I was able to do the assignments at my own time all while receiving support from my professors when I do encounter an obstacle.”

“I have enjoyed the interest and enthusiasm the instructors bring to their courses so much this semester. Every lecture video I watch contains bits and pieces of lived experience or concepts they have engaged in in the past and share their insights on while providing other perspectives. I think that is extremely rare to find and when you have that amount of passion-riddled throughout the courses you’re in, it’s so much more appreciated.”
